I put 2 coats of wax on the jacket. First to fully get absorbed into jacket and second to top it off. I have done a couple jackets and 2 seems to be perfect.
this is beautiful. do you happen to have pictures? im trying reproof my filson jacket for the first time. it came with a free can of wax but it was only 1 1/8 fl oz. any tips?
Just came across your site, I love it. Was this jacket reproofed or was it originally unwaxed? I have a cotton trench that I have been trying to find out how to wax any basically every where I look says it can't be done.
how many coats would you say you put on that. seems like a lot.
