Fibers Of America Gallery Show

Fibers of America - Cory Piehowicz artist reception Friday, Aug 3 6-9pm and opening reception Saturday, August 4 7-10pm at RIVET 1200 N. High St.

This will be my first solo show in a very long time. I will be exhibiting photographs of my expeditions to the mines with Mike and Charla Harris in search for denim. There will also be a few relics that were found on these journeys with the Harris's. Other images in the show are photographs inspired by vintage photos and reproduction clothing from the turn of the century. 

Sorry for the long delay in posting. I have been out of the country and getting ready for a solo photo show at Rivet Gallery in Columbus Ohio. One of the super bummers of the trip was one of my best buddies losing his Mister Freedom jacket on one of the flights. I have called multiple airports and am having no luck even know we know exactly what flight we left it on. Thanks to US Airways for not helping. Here are some of the last photos of the jacket in Sweden.

BlueBlanket Fader Jeans

 Luckily I have been able to talk to the BlueBlanket guys the last two inspiration shows. Antonio Di Battista (mastermind of BlueBlanket) is one of the most incredible designers in the denim industry today. His attention to detail and fabric is only one of many things that makes him stand out. I have posted about BlueBlanket Jeans in a previous post, but here are the Fader style jeans from BB.
